Folks,

I am wondering if different versions of the quilt where built, or where they alll the same.
Also interested to hear of peoples experiences of using it at the temperature rating (or below).

Thanks,

Stephen

I don't have the Blackwelder, but I have the Palisade. In researching Katabatic Gear and with my experience, the ratings are conservative.

I've taken my Palisade down to 22 degrees a few times with just merino base layers and thicker socks and a thin insulating top. All this was in a hammock and under a summer tarp.

Hope this helps.

Glad to help. Aaron does a great job! You won't go wrong with his products.

I got my hands on a Blsckwelder, it is very nice indeed.

The 6ft long, 58inch wide model with 2oz overfill comes in at 1086grams.
