I'm about to order a new quilt, the Hammock Gear Burrow 20 (unless someone can convince me otherwise). I'm hoping for this to be a do-all three-season quilt that can also handle the light winters here in Southern California, yet versatile enough to be usable in SoCal summers at least up until the lows get to about 60 degrees.
My debate right now is whether to overstuff. Obviously it would extend the temp range downward. Would it make this quilt too warm for summer use? I'm getting the snap footbox so venting won't be a problem, but I'm not quite sure if that would be enough. Any advice or experience?
