I'm wanting to make a summer quilt with 2.1 or 2.5 apex to complement my EE revx 20. I made a 5.0 apex quilt last year using 1.1 rooftop 2nds and I'd like to go with a nicer and lighter fabric this time around. Will be used in the southeast. I'm not worried about downproofness. So M90, impetus 1.0, pertex, argon, or something else?

Nobul1 is cheap and light. I had a problem with downproofness so I might not do that again but maybe it was just that batch. I used it for lining of synthetic quilt and it worked great. Comfortable.

I used M50 for outer of down quilt. More water resistant than Nobul1 if that's important.

Argon is good stuff. I've used the heavier Argon 90, which is just a bit less that 1oz. The .67oz stuff should be great and only $10.

Impetus 1.0 is great stuff, too. I like the feel of impetus more than the Argon 90, and it's more down proof. It's what I made my down quilt with, and it feels great against my skin and drapes really well.

I think I'm going to go with Impetus 1.0 Hoping it will be the most comfortable on a hot night against my skin. I'm hoping to be around 14 oz for this quilt.
