Has anyone used a SL2 suspended from trees or a taught rope? I did a quick set up this way when it arrived but wasn't sure how durable the external ridgeline loops would be.
Google provided mention of this configuration begin possible but no pictures or accoumnts of it in practice. I have lots of experience hanging hammocks and should be able to cannibalize some zingit and amsteel into a sturdy sturdy tarp suspension.
Are there some downsides here that aren't so obvious?
