So I was canoeing today and in an attempt to avoid causing a pile-up I end up swamping the canoe and in the process losing my old Timex watch. It was kind of starting to fall apart and was the cheapest thing I was wearing at the time so its really no big loss. Any way, I've worn a watch every day since about 7th grade and am already looking for a suitable replacement.
If the High Gear watch would ever pop up back on SAC for $35 I would jump all over it but I don't foresee that happening.
On to the matter at hand, I'm looking for a decent digital watch that can pull duties in town/around campus as well as work well on the trail. Altimeter isn't really necessary nor are many other bells and whistles. I've been a long time user of Timex Ironman's but switched it up last time around to an analog Timex. It was OK but I think I prefer digital. I also want to keep it relatively inexpensive. Does anyone have any watch that they just love? Links would be greatly appreciated as well.
Thanks a lot.
Adam
