I’ve been getting more remote (good thing), and seeing more bears. I’ve started having a camp fire in the evening just to let them know I’m around. This is in off trail locations mostly. Anyway, I was wondering if this really does any good. Does a fire alert wildlife to stay away? Any input would be appreciated.
