Thermawrap Sizing (what I’ve learned so far)

I am going to get some thermawrap pants but I'm unsure of what size to get. I normally wear a 32 or 33 size waist, and the sizing says this is the upper limit for a medium. But a large fits all the way up to a 36 inch waist. Will the "athletic cut" make a big difference? Please give me feedback if you own these pants and how they fit in their respective sizes.

I have a pair of Thermawrap pants in medium, and it fits me perfectly. I'm 5'9", 150 lbs., 32-33 inch waist.

At 175 lbs, you will either be at the upper limit, or feel a tad tight. I think you should still give the Medium a try.

If the Medium doesn't work, you may just be "in between" sizes and need to look elsewhere, because my guess is that the Large — fitting to 36" — will be too big for you.

Im 5'9.5" and 165 lbs, the Medium thermawraps fit me perfectly. I wear them over one layer; convertable hiking pants.
I guess someone up to 5'11 and 170lbs could wear Mediums; they are a little long and have an athletic fit IMO.

i'm 5'10" and 185. What do you think?

Coming to think of it, given both your height and waist size, the pants should work. You are heavier than either Brett or me, but again, given your waist size, I suspect the difference is probably in the upper body.

Hey Jonathan – Good luck w/ the pants. Would you mind reporting back once you've had a chance to try them on? It would be great to know how they work out (I'm also planning on getting a pair for myself for the fall / winter).
