Hey everyone,
I'm finding my Western Mountaineering Megalite to be sweaty overkill in the summer; I want to cut weight and be more comfortable at temps above 50° F/10° C. I'm exploring the idea of getting the UL 60 or PRO 90 quilts from BPL/BMW, but since they're pretty new products there are no user reviews of them yet.
(I am a middle-of-the-road-temperature sleeper, like sleeping on my side (but I do toss), and prefer wearing at least one layer of lightweight wool clothes while sleeping. My primary shelter is a Tarptent Contrail, and I sleep on GG NightLight pads. I have no previous quilt experience.)
Is there anyone out there who's used one in the field? What have been your impressions? How do you sleep, and how do the BMW quilts accomodate you?
