Hey folks, a last minute trip is getting put together, and I was discussing possibilities of where to go.
Has anyone been through Sequoia national park in early april? Does anyone have any suggestions for trails to take where we won't have to deal with snow?
Loose figures we're dealing with-
Distance: 5-30 miles
Duration: 2-4 days
Don't be too strict with that timeframe/distance, because I could always use the suggestions for a later time.
Thanks for the info.

"Has anyone been through Sequoia national park in early april?"
I've been through Sequoia and Kings Canyon in early April.
What kind of skis are you taking?

*sigh*
that answers that.
There aren't any lower elevation trails that are nice?
In early April, the conditions can vary a lot. Some roads will still be gated, and some of the ranger stations are still closed for winter. Some of the lower elevation trails are open. Of course the tourists are hiking through Giant Forest on any month of the year.
