Bug netting that can be used for Tarp or Hammock?

I would recommend looking up how to make a "Fronkey" bug net (named after its creator) if you indeed want to try this. You could put loops at each end to hold the net up like a tent in a ground setup.

Honestly bug net bivies and tents are so cheap that it might make more sense to get one for each (unless you are worried about having to go to ground on a hammock trip).

Something like that would work actually. I could run a thin ridgeline cord under the tarp and hang it from there. Unfortunately I have no sewing machine. I know ENO and Grand Trunk make similar products but they seem heavy and pricy. I will keep searching.

I use this one with my hammock. I suspect you will be able to cinch it at the bottom far enough to stay put under your pad. You could easily run a line from the "head" end to one of your tarp loops to keep it off of your face.
