Tarpent Cloudburst 2 or Double Rainbow

For me, the decision was somewhat easy. I went with the Double Rainbow because it's free standing with hiking poles (and I hike with poles) and it is so dang amazing. I've had so many non-freestanding tents and I was just sick of battling with hard ground and rocks and guying to trees and carrying rocks over to attach guylines…well, I think you get the point. My DR is for when I hike with my girlfriend, which is when it is nice and calm, so stability and wind/weather was less of a factor for this purchase.
Bottom line – It was the lightest, 2 person, free standing tent I could find.
Just my opinion.
