Montbell Ul Thermo or patagonia micropuff

The Micropuff will keep you warmer. BPL has a good comparative article on insulated jackets here that includes both jackets:

These are apples and oranges. The Thermawrap is an UL 250grams while the Micropuff is twice as thick, and about 600grams for the jacket (354 for the pullover); The jacket would take up about 4 times as much space in your pack.
IME, Thermawrap is good to 0C while active with a wool-1 base.

Your numbers for the Patagonia Micropuff Pullover appear to be way out of line. I know that Patagonia changed the material since mine was made. My large from 2005 I believe weighs 11.6oz. The Patagonia website lists the current Pullover as 417 g (14.7 oz) but I am not sure of the size they are referencing.

I can't argue with your comment on the layering approach, but your comments on weight and bulk differences don't seem right to me. The 8oz vs 11oz weights do not agree with your numbers, and I have both jackets and do not see even close to a 4X bulk difference when jackets are in their stuff sacks. Am I missing something here?

I purchased a Micropuff pullover this year and it weights 11.7 oz (332 grams) for a medium.

I measured the volume of the stuff sack that came with my 2007 Micropuff. It is 1.5 L.

What is the stuff sack volume for an easily stuffed Montbell UL Thermo in size M?

My men's medium micropuff is under 11oz. The one i'm selling coincidently. It's very warm and stuffs quite small, certainly not 4x larger than a thermawrap. Not even anywhere near double.
