If someone has a ULA circuit handy, can you please measure the height of the front and the back of one of the side pockets?

In an unloaded pack it is 8 1/4 and 11 1/2. Note that the bottom of the pocket is not level, but rises up from the bottom. I measured both from the bottom.
What are you trying to determine?

What I did like about the circuit was my ability to easily reach a water bottle in my side pocket, but all the packs I have now I cannot. I was trying to figure out how short/tall the front of the side pocket needed to be in order for me to reach it. Hmmm…..
So…I was trying to determine how high the lower portion of the pocket is in relation to the bottom of the pack, as well as the rise towards the back.
I'm not at all convinced this will give me what I'm looking for, as what I probably need is the measurement from the underside of one shoulder strap to the ipsilateral front of the pocket, but then I'm getting too crazy.
Any MYOG pack people have any suggestions?
