This down is great. I just got 2 lbs in the mail to make 4 quilts with and was very impressed with the quality sent. I can maybe get some pictures up monday of my fill power test but when I compressed 1/2oz of down in a cylinder (granted it was just with my hand so nothing was that scientific) it lofted above the 400fp range which i figured if i did a full ounce it would loft well beyond 800fp. I order 800fp so it would seem that I recieved something of a higher grade. Dont quote me for sure on this though, but if you order I would say save your money on ordering the 900 or 950 fp that they sell and just order the 800fp with the water treatment. And just to clarify it was $200 for 2 lbs of down delivered to my door. Shipping is included, cant ask for a better deal on bulk down.

2nd'd this post. I went with 900 and the finished quilt loft exceeded my careful calcs so I consider it accurate enough. Definitely pick gray down, most of mine was almost white (not that it matters, just cheaper)

Search down gear deals maybe a month or 2 ago, there was a 15% off coupon code. It appears to be the code they give for signing up with their newsletter.

In that thread I explain their awesome customer service, basically shipped it to me twice free after an error in the address, likely my typo. Not sure if they or the carrier ate that, but I send as much business as I can their way.

Vince, I am not sure about your testing methode. Here is the standards:
US 2000 norm: cylinder diameter: 241 mm conditioning: steaming +3 to 5 days in a screen box compression cylinder: non-mechanized cylinder of 68,3 grams. Mass of the sample: 1 oz = 28,4 grams.

EN norm: cylinder diameter: 284mm, conditioning: tumble dry +2–5 days in a screen box compression cylinder: Lorch machine = mechanized cylinder weighing 94,25 grams, Mass of the sample:30 grams
