…less than a season old and with only 100miles or so of moderately rough use, have developed a pretty noticeable ding in the rail, adjacent to the instep.
Anybody else experience this? Something to ignore, or reason enough to try to return?

I can't imagine any ding big enough to make any difference whatsoever to the functionality. Mine have lost a bit of paint here and there.
