hey everyone,I was wondering if anyone else has tried any(bike)(running)gear for rain protection? it can also be worn anytime or as base layer.I picked up a pair of pearl izumi arroyo pants.taped seams and everything.looked em up and wow..sound fantastic they go for like $199.00.I got em for..$24.99 on ebay(ofcourse)lol.can't wait to get them to weight them but that sure sounds like they will serve multi purpose layer wise>anyone else know anything about this type of gear..thanks

well I got these in today.along with a pair of tights from pearl izumi.the arroyo's are freakin awsome!!will definetly be my go to rain pant.very light.way lighter then my thunderlight pants.and even the tights are looking pretty good as a base layer, they seem to be about the same weight as my patagonia lightweight base.it's definetly worth looking into.I will report back after some field testing with these, but seems like a good alternative for rain gear or baselayer option
