Although I grew up eating corn flakes for breakfast, I haven't been eating corn flakes much for the last several decades. The other day I was walking though the Dollar Store, and I saw a small 7 ounce box of corn flakes with (f.d.) strawberry flakes. That seemed different, so I plunked down my dollar. When I got the box home, I was reading the fine print. PRODUCT OF EGYPT. Egypt? Since when did they grow enough corn in Egypt that they could export it? I'm thinking that I could apply a rolling pin to the corn flakes and strawberry flakes, and then it will fit easier into a bear canister. Add a little Ensure powder and a half cup of hot water, and that would make breakfast.

Hey, what do you want for a dollar?

Bob, you're thinking outside the corn flakes box again, aren't you?

Seven ounces, six servings, 110 calories per serving (not high). But then a half cup of Ensure over it adds 125 calories.

I think you are onto something here, BG. Lots of possibilities for a buck. Good on ya.

If they were a product from China, I would send them out to my food taster in Boulder Colorado. If he lived, then I would try them.

If they are indeed from China, I'll test it for you. But if they're from Egypt, I'll bait my local raccoons with it instead. (Egypt, India, and Mexico–my least favorite places to get painful diarrhea). I take PayPal, but you either pay the fees or add 5%.
