Could be an alternative if you are looking for some durable, eco-friendly trekking or ski poles. They seem to have quite a few models. Some are pretty expensive! But they all seem to be basically the same pole, the more expensive ones just have fancier and fancier levels of art/decorative features on them.
They don't seem to list weights, but bamboo is and can be a pretty durable and lightweight material, stronger and lighter than Aluminium, and comparable in many ways to Carbon Fibre.
I've sent them a quick email asking if they can tell me the weights of a 110cm and 120cm pole, also just confirming if there are any functional differences in the range.
