One of these landed on my front porch a few days ago. I was surprised that a search showed no mentions of this product on BPL, and wondered if anyone here was using one, had any comments on durability, down loss, etc.

Retail is $225, but it was $134.99 shipped from 6pm.com, and arrived via Priority Mail 2 days after being ordered.

I bought this to use as my sole insulating layer around camp and during other periods of relative inactivity when the temperatures are 30-50F, which is fairly typical(not so much, this year!) of morning and evenings from fall through spring in the South. Should get to try it next week, as the forecast where I will be is calling for almost those exact temps with a low of 30F and high of 51F. So far, I've only stood around in it outside at 40F with a Capilene 1 top, and was neither hot nor cold.

The ProLiteGear video linked below had a comment that it would fit larger arms than similar UL down pieces from brands like Montbell. I hoped that it would be a rather roomy cut overall, as I'm very thick through the upper torso, plus could stand to lose ~15 pounds from around the waist.
I have the size Large. I am 5'7", currently 200lb. I need a belt with 33" jeans, but actually measure 38" around the gut and love handles(my "50,000 calorie survival belt"), and 46"+ around the chest.
The body itself has no taper, so it is indeed roomy, and the fit is fine up top as long as I don't try to flex or cross my arms too far, which reaches the limits of the available girth. The sleeves have elastic cuffs and 2-2.5" extra length available for me, but I'm short. I would say this is a "normal" fit for a size large, and since I only intend to wear it over a Capilene 1 baselayer, it should work fine for me.

btw, this last video states that the size Medium weighed in at 6.1-6.2oz.
My size Large weighs 206g/7.266oz.
Stored in its chest pocket, which has a doublesided zipper and a carabiner loop, it is 10" long, and 5.5" wide. It is 3.5" at the thickest, but is easily pressed to 2.5" overall, and can compress smaller than that.

Hi Owen,

How are you get on with this?

I ordered one on sale while ago, the place has free returns so it was an easy decision.

Stephen, I've only had the opportunity to use it a handful of times, because of summer.

Don't remember what happened when I was supposed to try it at ~30F as I posted above, but I didn't get to go that week. Was doing more dayhikes with my girlfriend instead of backpacking right after that, so it mainly lived in a daypack for a month.
I did take it to TN and the NC mountains in April where it went in the 40s(complemented a 50F quilt well), and have used it a couple of other times here in AL and TN in camp at 50-60 instead of a long sleeve shirt or baselayer.
So far, it's been comfortable over a synthetic t-shirt at all those temps. It will probably be another month before it starts getting carried regularly again, though.

Thanks very much Owen.

I got this for using as a booster layer under an Arcteryx Nuclei down to about 30F or so. I was on the fence between getting a Large or XL but went with the latter, the place I got it from has free return shipping
so no big deal if its too big.

Hi Owen,

I just realised that the fill weight for this is not listed on the OR website, did you come across it in during your research?

Cheers,

Stephen

Edit: I sent a message to OR customer support.

Will do Owen,

I presume it probably has about 2oz in it.

Hi Owen,

Just spoke to OR Customer support, they say that the Large has 50g (1.76oz)
