Would anyone be interested in a multi-day snowshoe trip down the Dog River west of Wawa?
I'm planning to descend the river, starting near the Paint Lake Road bridge over the Dog, to the Superior shore. From there the idea is to follow the shoreline west to east end of the Isacor cliffs, follow waterways inland, and arrive at the Eagle River Mine.
Mid-March works the best for me. The snow and ice should still be excellent, day length will be increasing, and temps will (hopefully) be a tad warmer than they are now!
