This is a unique opportunity to join PBI staff and volunteers as we conduct a reconnaissance expedition in one of the most biodiverse areas of Argentina. We will explore wild areas with great ecological diversity, with imposing mountains, extensive sub-tropical and tropical forests, rivers, canyons, deserts, salt flats and high lakes. The area is extremely rich in bird life, and other wild fauna and flora. This area contains some of the most colorful and vibrant culture in Argentina. Evidence of Inca and pre-Inca civilizations are found throughout the landscape. We will collect initial data on some of the most important unprotected wildlands in Argentina.

See video footage of the area and download an expedition application at: http://www.pacificbio.org/expeditions/salta2014.html. Direct inquiries to expeditions@pacificbio.org.

To be fair to Mr. Morrison, he originally posted it in another forum (maybe Group Trip announcements, I can't remember) and Roger Caffin moved it here…

Just sayin' :)

But it does feel a bit like advertising.

This is the right place, though with no "deal" (or some kinda special hook-up) it might just be straight up advertising, which typically just gets deleted (well, at least hit and miss).

Definitely doesn't belong in "Hiking Partners/Group Trips" if it's just a commercial ad!

Ah well then, a free bump from me. Perhaps some day I'll be able to figure out the BPL forums.
