Check out the video of my latest climb and campsite in a huge cottonwood tree (the vid is less than 3 minutes)! Treecamping is basically climbing a tree and camping high in the canopy on either a portaledge or a hammock. Check it out:

So I want to hear what other rock & ice climbers think about this. All of my tree climbing friends work as arborists and the idea of camping after a climb is unappealing to them for some reason???
Treecamping is hard work relative to sleeping on the ground but over here in MN I don't have the option to run out my door and climb a mountain so this is how I feed my addiction for multiday climbs. What do you think? I am looking for knowledge to help me convince my rock/tree/ice climbing friends to try this with me!

Thanks guys.
I can't help with any climbing advice, but I will say that your enthusiasm will take you far in life.
Stay in air, my friend!
Sounds fun, I'd just caution making sure you use big branches to anchor to. Your selection looks pretty secure. If the temp is cold enough for long enough the limbs could freeze and become brittle making for an unpleasant crack in the night ;)
Logan,
Here is a couple of books you may enjoy.

Enjoy you adventures!
Dude you nuts! Excellent.
Thanks for kind words guys!
Steofan, I hope you are right! Thanks!
Hoot, I have had a bunch of people telling me to read "The Wild Trees" so I am gonna have to check it out soon.
