I know this is a “heavy” hammock, but sleep is important. I want my most important items to be durable and practical ( like an axe )

That's a tough one …. haven't heard of anyone reviewing that one before… if you haven't already, a Warbonnet Ridgerunner might be worth a look, it has the spreader bar and comes in around 25 ounces …

TreeBoats were built for tree camping. I am a tree camper and even I think they are way to heavy. If you include all of the accessories needed for an overnight trip I don't even think the whole thing would fit into my backpack. But I have never used one personally so check out the reviews for better opinions.
