Who needs first aid skills, antiseptic or bandages? Get rid of all that newfangled tomfoolery and carry a Homeopathic Accident and Emergency First Aid Kit. Only 7.5 ounces!
Feb 21, 2014 at 5:12 pm #2075820Amusing.
I wonder what they do for a 50 mm slash right through your skin to the stuff underneath?Cheers

Feb 21, 2014 at 10:25 pm #2075902Hey! That's that foam that someone found in the recycling!

Should work wonders for a compound fracture with a good spurting arterial bleed.
There's one born every minute. I need to go— I'm late for my chakra adjustment.
Feb 22, 2014 at 6:58 am #2075950Guys, internet sarcasm doesn't make for good karma for the website…
Don't bring that bad mojo up in here.
I'll go boil up some Echinacea and try to cleanse.

A tad long at 10 and a half minutes, but a worthwhile watch….
Feb 22, 2014 at 8:31 am #2075980Reminds me of this Mitchell and Webb sketch:
Feb 22, 2014 at 8:53 am #2075988Doug, that movie was awesome. Thanks.
Feb 23, 2014 at 2:00 pm #2076329I'm late for my colonic…
Feb 23, 2014 at 4:02 pm #2076363Just get right with the lord and pray on your compound fracture.
The answer will either be: yes, no, or "wait a while"Yep… That pretty much covers it.
Weight penalty: 0

Commitment is all you need. … And a high pain toleranceIts the xul 1st aid.
Feb 23, 2014 at 4:29 pm #2076371A friend's wife sells "essential oils" that cure all sorts of ills. He and I have learned to steer the conversation elsewhere when my wife (a double-board-certified MD) is present.
She was telling me about some lavender oil that I apparently needed and how it feels so good to have it massaged into the soles of your feet. "I'm sure it does, but how is your husband going to feel about you giving me a foot massage?" That reined her in a little. As did my response to her outrage at her 19-year-old daughter dating a 25-year-old guy, "What is he, some kind of pedophile?!?" "Jacki, I'm 6 years older than Kristin."
Doug, I really liked the video. I'm a Tim Minchin fan, but hadn't seen any of his animated shorts. Thanks. His song "Prejudice" has the best-ever deceptive lead-in to a great punchline. It pops right up on youtube.
Mar 1, 2014 at 1:15 pm #2078411I just put my injured body part under a collapsable UL pyramid and it's "all better" in minutes.
(But it works even better if I'm in a spiritual vortex area.;o)
Mar 2, 2014 at 9:00 pm #2078862I don't think it would have helped me.

Mar 3, 2014 at 5:43 pm #2079142Despite my smart azz comment about the X wife I should confess that I take joint supplements every day because of her. The proof that they work for me is what happens when I quit taking them, which is lots of pain a month or two after I stop.
