I am heading out for a trip out West soon. I planned to use a ID Silponcho and Spinnchaps. Yet, as zero hour arrives I find myself eyeing my traditional raingear (ID Event jacket, Precip pants. Any reason I shouldn't go with the poncho combo? I do love the lightweight/small packing size of the poncho package.
