I'm looking for a GoPro unit.
Can someone educate me on a few features?
I want a camera that can get in the ocean with me, as well as handle a little depth (up to ~50 feet)
I'm not interested in video so much as shooting bursts of stills. Do all models do this, even back to the original HD 1st generation?
I've been looking at Hero 2s on Craigslist. Found what appears to be a good deal on an original Hero. You can typically find these with all hardware and memory cards for around $100.
Am I better off buying a new Hero 3 White edition for $199 new (not including an SD card, I assume)?
I'm really not looking for super amazing quality, just the ability to document stuff reasonably well in and underwater. I don't see why an early generation wouldn't work for me.
