Several years ago, I bought an "el-cheap-o" antihistamine at the store to combat a VERY runny nose. Back to the office & popped the "recommended dose". Woke up some time later with my face straight down on my desk. Apparently, it was "unbuffered". Knocked my out, but didn't keep me out. Did dry up my nose & sinuses for a while, though. As always, YMMV.
