All the WalMart's near me have put the UCO Original Candle Lantern on final closeout clearance priced at $15.00. These are the current production anodized models (in red) that have the slide-down-for easy-lighting glass and they come with one candle each. Most have them moved to their Clearance area, which in some stores is a separate area from Camping.
WalMart staff tell me that WMT will no longer carry the UCO Original lanterns nor the replacement UCO candles. So when these Clearance are sold out, that's it. (UCO still makes the classic lantern, WalMart just won't carry it anymore).
At $15 you might want to pick up one or more.
PS The WalMarts near me did not have any of the UCO candles left (1.25 in x 4 in) and they're getting harder to find. WalMart carries 8" straight candles in their Candles Dept at .75 cents each, I burn these in my UCO lanterns. A little narrower than the UCO shape but they do work.
