Looks similar to the Marmot Baffin jacket: 15 denier nylon ripstop with synthetic insulation. Same features: two hand pockets and a chest pocket. Drawstring hem adjustment. It's a handy midlayer, like a synthetic down sweater. Warmer than a heavy fleece. Can survive getting wet. Mine weighs 12.0 ounces (men's medium).

It can be found for $80 to $90. I wouldn't pay much more than that. The Patagonia version has Pertex Endurance with a little bit of water resistance, but for $250, you can buy a heck of a nice ultra-light down hoody. I paid less than that for my Marmot Quasar Hoody — 10 ounces, 900 fill down, Pertex Quantum 10D fabric.

A PrimaLoft insulation layer is a handy piece, but I'm not seeing $250 worth. Unlike down, synthetic insulation has a limited lifespan.

I'd go for the REI Revelcloud jacket at half the cost and less than an ounce heavier. It's Quantum and Primaloft Eco, but fine for getting ember holes, snags, and sleeping in the dirt :)
