traditionally a bunch of friends go snow camping at this time, but this year we are looking else where due to lack of you know what… was thinking of a 3d/2n hike around 5K elevation in the sequoia kings canyon national park… I am completely unfamiliar with the lower elevation possibilities of the area… any ideas would be helpful…
Check out "Redwood Canyon." There is a good trip report here on BPL, as I recall. Sleep under Sequoias.
Maybe not big enough for 3d/2n, though.
