Just anxious to know what you all are wishing for….
My wish list seems to change or evolve every time. When i think i have it all i stumble on something i 'need to have'In no particular order;
1. Six Moon Design Gatewood Cape : the ultimate poncho tarp ?
2. Nunatak Arc Specialist : i am very fascinated by the quilt concept, for a very long upcoming trip i would love to have this one as part of a super versatile 3 season sleep system. I am saving up!
3. La Sportiva Trango S EVO GTX: this very long upcoming trip will include a lot (I hope) of (UL) mountaineering trips. After using heavy plastics for over a decade this would be the ultimate upgrade (downgrade in weight, more than 50% lighter than my plastics)Of course there is (some) more but these three are the ones i would like the most…oh if i had the money…
So, what's on yours?
Jul 18, 2007 at 11:11 am #13957801) Nunatak Arc Specialist with 1oz overfill and sized to 6ft
2) Titanium Goat DWR top bivyThe other 3 items that were on my wish list are or should be getting close to being under production? A MLD Zip pack, Grace Solo Spinntex tarp and bug Bivy.
Jul 18, 2007 at 11:41 am #1395785Materials for my own poncho tarp.
Same thing, except for a bivy.
ULA Conduit. I've always like the look of it. Not sure exactly what I would use it for since I don't end up doing many long trips but since its a wish list I'll put it on here.
Bushbuddy. There's lots of wood around here…
A hiking partner that can keep up or at least not slow me down much. Maybe an attractive one while I'm at it. (Ok, so its not gear, but still…)I seem to have acquired most everything that used to be on my wish list; GG Whisper (in the mail), down quilt, GG Nightlight Torso, windshirt, spinnaker tarp, etc.

Jul 18, 2007 at 12:22 pm #1395789– 40 Below TR overboots with Simple Slipper (not putting the trail runners away this winter :) )
– A headlamp version of the Fenix LOD CE or at least a better way to attach it to my pack or baseball hat.
– A version of the Ibex Nelson with a balaclava style hood and thumb holes (or any wool hoody in 17 micron or less)
– Last but by no means least, a pair of BMW Featherlite mitts, but I hear they will be back in stock come Fall.

Jul 18, 2007 at 9:31 pm #1395869A 16 oz 2 man version of Glen V P's 11 oz Cuben tent;)
Jul 18, 2007 at 10:35 pm #1395877I've always wanted someone to make a lite-weight running pack.
Something heavily padded with enough strength.Throw in some good suspension and make it about 1800 ci and it should come in around 7-9 ounces.
There is nothing out there even close to that.
