Hi All,
I have a Hex 3 – and am very happy with it. Only gripe is that I'd like to add a storm flap to the bottom edges to keep the wind/rain out, as I can't seem to make the bathtub floor stand up properly. Now before you all start yelling at me, I know this will adversely affect the ventilation in the tent, but I figure I can lift the leeward flaps to offset this (I also know that the tent can be pitched with one side further to the ground than others, but somehow this doesn't solve the problem).
I'm thinking that a 6-7 inch wide flap of material (like the MH Kiva) sewn around the bottom of each 'hex' bottom would do the trick. This could then be pegged down or lifted as required.
So has anyone else thought about doing this, and if so what is the recommended course of action?
