Rainforests, ancient trees, extensive walking tracks
Hike/Camp Coomera circuit 17.4km
Ran into leeches by the time I noticed the vile creatures, my toes had turned bright red from the blood that about 10 of them were "leaching" out of me. Saved you the gore of an actual picture, but just imagine Halloween.
Springbrook National Park
Waterfalls, rainforest, ancient trees, impressive views
Hike/Camp Warrie circuit 17.0km
This trail was officially closed but I hiked it anyway.
I just had to navigate a lot of blown down trees and one minor mudslide.
Natural Bridge Falls

The largest exposed granite rock in Australia, which reminded me a lot of St. Mountain.

Uluru(Ayers Rock)
A 348m (1,142 ft) sandstone rock, sacred to the Anangu aboriginal people and an UNESCO World Heritage Site. The area around the formation is home to a plethora of springs, waterholes, rock caves, and ancient paintings.
Walk around base – 9.4km (Hiking up Uluru was closed due to high temps)
