Was wondering if anyone owns, knows about these toaks pots. They are a bit heavier, but price is great. Looking at the 850ml. Can you nest a cannister, stove inside?

I have the lite trail version of the 550 and it will hold a cannister stove. Not sure is a can fits in there too but I suspect it does. Lite trail has them made with thinner Ti and they are lighter than the stock Toaks pot. Great products at Litetrail.com. Check them out.

Thanks for the info, looking into it now. Jist noticed the price of the toaks, and liked that. Must be a thicker ti or something.

I use their 600ml pot because I like the longer handles better than the mug style handles, and the pot *just* fits an upside down canister with my hornet stove on top of that (the 550 did not). I made some other little changes to the pot not because of the original lacking in any way. My 600 is the same width as the 850 that you're looking at, but 1 1/4" shorter so you should be fine to fit almost any relatively compact stove in the 850 with your canister. I like the Toaks stuff, cheap and in the ballpark with all the other more expensive ti companies. I could spend triple and shave half an ounce but I wouldn't feel very good about it. At the end of the day it's just a cup that boils water and holds my coffee.

Edit: I'm wondering if the weight listed for the 850 is a typo, as it's showing that it's lighter then all the pot/lid combos that are smaller than it save for the 550.

Thanks for the pics matt. Seems like all my gear will fit in there nicely. I was wondering about the weighr too. But, hard to avoid the price aspect. Looks like this will be my new pot!

I am now using the Toaks 750 (really more like 700, actually) as the titanium pot option in my Complete Kits. Can also get it by itself, or just with a ti windscreen. Anyway, I think the quality is good and it compares very favorably to the same size Snow Peak that is much more expensive. It will fit a standard 32 oz Nalgene bottle as well as a small fuel canister if you use those.
