I found these recently at my local grocery store next to the Knorr noodle packets. They were reasonable priced at $1.69, as a bonus they are boil in the bag! Perfect!

Do they reseal for cooking ?
will have to give those a shot either way.
I use these on most weekend trips. I usually cut the top with my scissors because when you tear open ,the zipper has failed me a few times.
I use my SP 600 mug and just a touch under 2 cups of water does the trick.
They are not bad but it ain't gourmet either!
In my area there are coupons in the Sunday paper for these pretty regular. I have gotten them for $.60-.75 several times.
Looking at that back label the ingredients list puts these in the class my wife and I refer to as 'chemistry set' food.
I'd rather forgo the semblance of a sauce for a simpler build list.
