Therm A Rest NeoAir
regular size
$70 at campsaver.com using the current 20% discountDec 27, 2013 at 8:19 pm #2058098Wow good find.
Dec 27, 2013 at 8:42 pm #2058108This isn't showing up for me.
Anyone have a link?
Great price, great find!
Dec 27, 2013 at 9:16 pm #2058125Check the outlet for clearance items.
Dec 28, 2013 at 3:21 am #2058172I bought one from campsaver back in November. It weighed 19.something oz. Quite a variance from the claimed 14. It got returned.
Dec 28, 2013 at 5:10 am #2058181Yikes, I bought one… Hopefully t isn't 19 ounces
Dec 28, 2013 at 6:12 am #2058186Assuming we are talking about this pad: http://www.campsaver.com/neoair-sleeping-pad-smu
The weight is listed at 19 oz. !!!Those are the specs for the size Regular NeoAir All Season, even though the product image is of the original NeoAir.
Dec 28, 2013 at 8:49 am #2058223What I bought was an original neo air. Looks just like what's shown on the site. Cascade Designs says it's supposed to be 14oz for the regular size. In fact if you can find one with the packaging that is what's listed on the outside. That is also what was listed on campsaver when I purchased it.
I see now on the clearance page where it's listed as 19oz. Maybe campsaver started listing the true weight after I told them why I sent it back?
Dec 28, 2013 at 2:48 pm #2058299I'm not sure why that is. Neoair Originals are supposed to be around 14 ounces… Not sure why its listed at 14 ounces in one area and 19 ounces somewhere else.
I was pretty excited about this deal… Maybe I'll get lucky and get the 14 ounce but I doubt it
Dec 28, 2013 at 7:42 pm #2058365Thanks, Paul. Do you know what they sent you? (And presumably what they're selling, if the 19 oz is the correct info, instead of the 14 oz.) Not obvious to me what NeoAir would be 18-19 oz. Campmor has an "Ext" that looks similar and is about that weight. Anyone know what NeoAir Ext is, other than heavier than the normal?
Best,
Bill S.
Dec 29, 2013 at 10:55 pm #2058726Picked one up, I'll weight it when I get it. They have all the sizes listed on CampSaver, but only one weight. 19 oz is the long/wide. REI has the regular listed at 14 oz. http://www.rei.com/product/781096/therm-a-rest-neoair-sleeping-pad
Jan 2, 2014 at 5:16 am #2059557good deal
Jan 2, 2014 at 9:55 pm #2059871I got mine today. It weighs 18 ounces and has a sticker on it that says "Neoair exp." Anybody have any idea what the neoair exp is? I was looking but couldn't find anything on google…
Jan 2, 2014 at 10:08 pm #2059874Jan 6, 2014 at 11:52 am #2060903Exp or Ext?
http://www.amazon.com/Campmor-Thermarest-NeoAir-EXT-Mattress/dp/B00DRRLMFK
Only two sites I found it on after a quick search. No info other than specs though.
Jan 9, 2014 at 11:41 pm #206210818.8 oz, and it is indeed Exp.
Jan 10, 2014 at 2:11 am #2062116Unfortunately mine wasn't even advertised with the correct model or weight. Doesn't exactly make me want to purchase there again.
