Was just thinking that that was only one year ago, but we can buy gear made for the trek today (e.g., Cocoon Hoody and Bushbuddy Ultra).
Pretty good product turnaround when you think about it. And, we know the gear really works when put to an extreme test.

Speaking of the Arctic trek, I remember seeing only one BPL article about it afterwards with a promise of at least another article to follow. Is that just wishful thinking?
