Hey everyone,
I am getting ready to head out for the John Muir Trail. I will be going for the Unresupplied Record at the end of the month. This is the same attempt Al Shaver went for last year and there are at least 5 of us going for it this year.
It is currently held by Reinhold Metzger in 5 days and 7 hours, (who did it at the age of 63).
If I want to keep or have the record, I will have to really come up with something special. The 2 heavy hitters going for the attempt this year are John Stamstad and Justin Angle.
I will post my final gear list for the attempt in the next few days.
I will also be making a few recordings while I am on the trail to send in as a podcast here.
