I recently purchased an Alpacka Yak Packraft, now I'm looking for the right paddle.

Application:
Whitewater (Class 1-3) and some occasional lake use.

I'm looking for something durable but very lightweight. Cost isn't as much an issue as weight. I'm not sure I would want a Carbon Fiber blade since it might get a bit beat up by this novice.

From reading some other threads, I've been looking at the Werner Shuna but I'm not sure on this. I'm assuming I would want a 4 piece paddle, a CF pole, a 210cm length, and maybe fiberglass blades for more durability at my skill level.

Thanks in advance for your time and knowledge sharing.

Shuna for sure. A lot of $$ and carbon touring blades would save some ounces, but I'd be nervous beating on them in bony class III. After three full summers of use my Shuna does not look new, but is functionally perfect.
