Huum. It looks to be very close to the Alpine Wind Jacket, possibly a older version, maybe circa 5 years ago..ish. But I'm not absolutely sure. It is sort of in the same family as the Zypher – I have one of those from 11-12 years ago I think. I still use it.

Ask if there's another tag, inside the jacket, left side, down in between the sleeve and the waist. It will have the Patagonia item number, you can search it from there.

Typically there is a tag under the size tag or near the left bottom that will have a "style" number. Sometimes it is printed on the back of the size tag. You can usually google that number and get the model name c

Looks heavier than the Alpine Wind Jacket— thicker cloth and lining both.

eBay descriptions can be all over the map. I see "nano puff down" and similar quite often.

It looks sorta' like an old shelled Synchilla Jacket. It more or less looks like one of their fleeces with a nylon shell.

The torn and marked tag catches my eye. I know they do this sort of thing with products that are samples or prototypes that never came to be (or factory seconds) that get sold at discounted prices to company employees, etc. The torn/marked tag is supposed to indicate it was not a standard item and thus warranty opportunities may be limited, or not available. Not saying this is the situation here for sure, but it's possible.

Yeah, I saw the grey liner and though microfleece like the zeypher, but it is hard to tell from a photo. It does look like it could be heavier, but the elastic cuffs made me think wind jacket. This is fun…kinda light "CSR – special backpacking unit".

haha, I like it. Yeah, it looks like it is thicker than the alpine wind jacket – leaning more toward a synchilla with a shell. I decided to go for it for cheap either way – thanks for your help! I'll post some more info/pics when I get 'er in the mail and we can close the case.

Cheers,
Brendan
