Definitely go with Nunatak. Great quality.
I found that using a modified Gatewood cape (velcro along the bottom with an 18 inch netting skirt with velcro on the top) and a Montbell number 3 is no problem for my G6, even if it is a bit heavier. I even toss in a 3/4 length 15 oz insulmat.
I love the G6 pack!
The real key to using the G6 is good water managment …. taking off from a trailhead carrying 5 liters of water just doesn't cut it, but a two liter platy works great.
