FF Helios Jacket Sizing

I always find FF's fit towards the slim/athletic end and I always size up. I am a men's large but get FF items in XL.

i wear l in most items and needed to go xl in ff's mid-weight jacket line.

However,I would also recommend the medium

I am a 38 chest and found the small a year ago (could have changed since) to fit fine… even with a mid layer. But I wanted a snug fit so as not to be warming extra air inside. I was also unsure at the time and what I did was call them and ask if they minded if I ordered both the small and the med and return the one that I didn't want. They were happy to do that. But what I didn't like was the cut, the short length, the high awkward pockets, and the huge collar that allowed too much air in. I returned both.

Thanks for the recommendations….ordered the Helios in size medium and being 5'4" and 135lbs, it fits almost perfectly in both girth and length. Unlike some comments/reviews I read, the pockets seem to be at a nice level are comfortable to use.
Overall construction quality is what I expect from Feathered Friends and with 7oz of down, is incredibly puffy.
