This is pretty funny – how not to do a sale.
You've got to see the list of exclusions to believe it….

Doug: That reads like every Westmarine sale, ever. Never on boats, motors, Garmin, radios, etc, etc.
I've pondered a constitutional amendment (state not federal) reading, "All advertisements are binding offers to sell at the advertised price. Further, any portion of a print advertisement greater than a font size chosen by the consumer is also a binding offer to sell at the advertised price and terms." With similar honesty standards for radio/TV based on speech speed, volume, screen time.
Plain-langauge version: If "50% off Everything" is in the largest font, then EVERYTHING *IS* 50% off. The proper presentation of most sales would be, "50% off all non-name-brand, non-electronic, non-current merchandise" and all those words would be in the same sized font.
Would 51% of Alaskans vote for that?
I'd vote for that.
Are you sure Golite's Black Friday/Cyber Monday deal isn't worse?
just sold for $1,225.
And, the seller had to charge $16.41 for shipping, too.
So my evil scheme to finance the kids' college educations by stockpiling a fleet of $700 down parkas is going according to plan!
