I tacked on my review as well.
I've had mine for a week now, but will wait until after I thru hike the Long Trail to write a review. I've only used them for a couple of short, strenuous hikes and have the found the locking system simple, solid, and easy to use. Strength and rigidity seems good. I have been getting ready for these by using my Leki poles without the strap for a couple of months. I didn't find using these without straps any change, except for the radically lighter weight. Very quality looking piece of gear.
