Is it true? I rubbed my eyes as I saw that the 500s were back in stock! Can anyone from BPL verify that this is a new run with a new lid design that fits properly? If so, I'm off to the gear shop to get another one! I've been looking forward to this day more than my own birthday!!!

I hope so, I just order one!
Mike,
Let's keep our fingers crossed!
As did I. Yippeeee! — the SUL handle-less model. Have I crashed the wrong party?
Well, I did get the model with the handle……. It would have made more sense to wait, as I'd also like to purchase a Firelite Titanium Wing stove, and save on the shipping, but, the way they run out of things around here…..I thought it might be better to grab a pot now, along with the fuel tabs, then buy the stove, once they become available?
I'm only saving 1.8 oz going from the MSR Ti.Kettle over to this Firelite pot, plus its much smaller as well, which will come in handy when I go to stuff everything into a GG Whisper pack?
I guess 1.8oz is a lot of weight savings, when you consider the GG Whisper Pack comes in at 3.8oz?
Yep, new run, new lids.
AND
We are having the brand new lids that fit right made and sent free of charge to all existing Firelite 500 owners. The new lids for those guys will arrive in a few weeks. There's nothing y'all need to do if you have a pot, just look in the mail in a few weeks for them.
:)
That's what I call after-sales service! Kudos to you, Ryan, and BPL!
Hmmm… I think I just snagged the last one!
After completing check out, I went back to product page — and it showed “Out of Stock”. That was fast!
Wow, that was fast..
The handle-less BPL ones are still in stock, or get a similar sized non-stick aluminum one for $8

Both the BPL and AGG pots can be paired with a Caldera Cone/stove for a very lightweight kitchen set.
Argh! Out of stack already? Any idea when the next batch is coming in?
Glad, I ordered mine last night. Around here, if you snooze, you'll lose, or at least you'll be waiting awhile?
Jason,
Did you see Ryan's post, if you have an original Firelite, with the ill fitting lid, a new tighter fitting lid will be sent to you, so no need to order another pot, if you already have one that is?
Brett Thanks for the heads up on the new line of Antigravitygear's Aluminum Non-Stick Cooking Pot's. I'm particularly interested in the MK2QNS 2 Qt. version at 5.9 oz at $10.00

It's the Apple iPot. heh heh
Brett and Roger,
Thanks but I already have both of those AAG pots. I want the Firelite 500 because it doubles as a mug. And, before anyone else chimes in and suggests the Snowpeak 600, I have one of those too. I specifically want the FL 500 for a particular niche I'm looking to fill.
Michael,
I had one of the first ones but sold it after bring disappointed with the lid. So, I need to buy a whole new one. oh well, I gues I'll just have to wait until the next run….
OK, either someone's browser cache is all foobar'ed or the site is querky because I just bought one and it said it was IN STOCK.
Here is to hoping it wasn't a glitch…
Interesting. I just checked it a few minutes ago and it said it was out of stock. So, you're order went through Ryan? The handleless one is in stock but the one withe handles is out. Which one did you order?
Jason, I bet you were right –Ryan Corder was most likely looking at the FireLite SUL-500 Titanium Cookpot — which lacks the handles — rather than the regular Firelite 500 with handles.
yeah, sorry. no handled version here.
I just ordered the SUL version. I thought they were out of stock but thanks to this forum it proved otherwise.
I ordered it together with the small Sul spoon, I am a sucker for the BPL Ti spoons and sporks…it is getting quite a collection. Everytime I have one they come with an even lighter one. (UL)Life is hard!
Thanks for getting my hopes up Ryan! #@$%!&*!
Jason:
I expect to receive mine tomorrow (I got a shipping notice from BPL a few days ago). Is there anything you would like to know about this pot? A few pictures perhaps?
