Hey,
after an all-out squirrel attack on the outside mesh pocket of my backpack I am trying to figure out what the best way is to fix the hole (about 2 inch diameter).
Any good advice?
Thanks!

Squirrel pelt patch.
You can cut a piece of black nylon material (assuming your mesh is black) and sew it onto the mesh to patch up the hole. Just be sure to allow enough "give" so the pocket can still stretch.
Squirrel pelt patch would be poetic justice… until the bear confuses it with food and attacks the pack! :)
Already used the squirrel pelt to make a pouch for my tent stakes. Guess I'll have to settle for the nylon patch.
