I am going on a quick two day trip on the laurel highlands trail in Pennsylvania the temps as of now are 46-50 for a high and 35 to 40 as a low. I have a SD isotope nano rain jacket and a timberland WPB hardshell. both are goretex level breathable. i have a wool sweeter and for midlayer and down for the stops and camp. should i just go with the rain shell for water and wind protection? As of now i am leaning towards that for weight since i think i will probably be carrying it most of the way. no better advice than this forum!
