The drawcord looks like it would be under a shoulder and hard to get to, from guessing where it ends up when inside. Where is the drawcord when you are inside?

I am guessing the gray is silnylon and the silver is breathable part?

The drawcord is on the side seam and can be drawn closed over the whole sleeping bag rather than the shoulder so the top of the head is covered with only a bit of the face exposed. The cordlock in that method would be by the face opening. The DWR top is slightly wider than the silnylon bottom to reduce condensation.

That's a pretty nice deal David. If i bought all the materials to make one from scratch, it wouldn't be that much cheaper than buying your pre made one. That's pretty cool to see.
