I see that Trail Designs has recently released their "Simmer Rings" to restrict airflow to their 12-10 alcohol stove for heat control.
The rings are available in two options.
1. single ring that restricts airflow 85%
2. adjustable double rings (inner & outer) that can vary the airflow restriction from 85% up to 50%. Their double vents can be infinitely adjusted for airflow restriction within these percentages. Nice to to have in order to accomodate altitude variations.
For you alky stove users (which does not include me) this is good news for fuel savings and heat control.
