Trying to buy a Houdini, but wondering what size to buy. I'm 6' and 200 lbs. Wear a size 44 suit. Sometimes I'm a large, others an XL. I've never bought a windshirt, so I don't know if I'd rather have it a little snug or a little loose. Any suggestions?

Patagonia, seems to me, is usually generous in their sizing. I am 5'11" 185 to 190 lbs and the Large is just fine. There is plenty of length left over that it should fit you.

I can even fit an R2 fleece underneath.

I have an old Dragonfly PO and a newer Houdini in XL and they both fit just loose enough for a couple of light layers … my suit size is 46. For reference, I have an older Velocity jacket in Large and there is no room for layering. Hope that helps.

I am 5'9'' and 159 pounds and their medium is perfect for baselayers and their micropuff.

I'm 6'4" and 205 lbs and I have the large and I'm happy with the fit. I tried the XL and it worked too but had a little more width around the mid section than I wanted. I've worn my large with an Ibex Hooded Shak, a Montbell Thermawrap vest, and JRB down sleeves.
